As a fully registered member of the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) forum, our Worksafe certificate is recognised by all other members of the forum.

In line with H&S legislation and Industry best practice, many clients will only use contractors and consultants selected from an approved database who have demonstrated the appropriate level of competence in their H&S management systems. Many buyers are also looking for the SSIP logo as a reassurance that the assessment meets the stringent criteria set by the HSE. Both the SMAS Worksafe schemes are assessed to this standard.

It does not itself state specific environmental performance criteria.

Its aim is to improve efficiencies for buyers and suppliers in the construction industry, specifically by reducing the duplication of work and administration relating to the process of pre-qualifying suppliers for construction contracts.

We are members of CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme). Our membership requires us to undergo assessment every two years to demonstrate that we meet acceptable standards of health and safety compliance.
